Ayam masak lemak cili api

Table for two. But sometime eat alone huhu... When I was with my family, the whole chicken would be only for a meal for the whole family. Now, when we live both together, just two person, whole chicken can be cut into 16 pieces and cook for four meal. Different dishes of course (trying hard to cook various dishes for every meal). So yesterday, we found cili api at a Thai mini market, and bought just like there would be no tomorrow. And also serai and kunyit. Then came the idea to cook ayam masak lemak cili api, rush to a Pakistani grocery and butcher, where chickens are sold too. It was at 6pm, all shop are merely to be close and continuing their business by the next morning, but temptation to eat ayam masak lemak cili api made we forced the Pakistani man to cut a chicken for us. Then the Pakistani man said, "For you my muslim sister and brother. You're both very lucky. We are almost close". Then I replied, "Owh, Alhamdullillah. Thanks God. Thanks man. You are not close yet. If it is so, then we need to wait for tomorrow to eat chicken". On our way home, the grocery paper bag that we brought to put the chicken (we brought our own grocery paper bag- save the earth, stop using plastic bag) suddenly was torn due to the wet chicken. Then, I finally turned home with a dirty tudung and jubah. Wet by the chicken's blood and the water, fortunately I was wearing black. Huu...My first destination when arrived home was bathroom. Only after then I got the chance to cook. And here it comes, ayam masak lemak cili api, London edition.
